Background Info

The current Executive Director of the Fairgrounds Management Company decided to increase our rate by 100% starting January 1, 2020. This is after a 30% increase over the last two years. They refuse to hear about our vision for expansion even though long term they want a family recreation center on the property. They have snubbed us out of all the meetings for redevelopment and now are trying to push us out.

After 17 years of faithfully serving this community, they will not offer us a longer lease, they have taken away our restrooms, prevented our ability to grow or improve the facilities yet they want us to pay top dollar or close our doors. They have decided that (our business model) no longer works on their property and yet paintball is the fastest growing family recreation across the country and mini-golf is in decline.

They claim the Fairgrounds is for the people but they are willing to push out the only Paintball and outdoor Laser Tag Facility in the area to replace us with more car storage, mulch or trash companies.

Our final day is October 29th and then we will be closed permanently!

We would like the county to know how much we meant to you. Please ask them:

WHY they are getting rid of the only year round recreation on the Fairgrounds?
WHY they continue to push out activities when there is nothing to replace us?
WHY they have not worked with us after 20 years of serving this community? We are the only thing on the property providing hundreds of families a week with healthy outdoor recreation, a unique birthday and team building venue, not to mention cherished memories that last a lifetime.

We hope they will hear you and allow recreation to exist in the future for you and your families. Even if it’s not at Santa Clara Paintball, you deserve more from your leaders.
