“I’ve been going to Santa Clara Paintball for years and it’s always been a great time. Particularly my last time there yesterday was by far my favorite time there. Our group had so much fun and the staff was great like always. I’ll definitely be back many more times thanks again for a great day of paintball Santa Clara Paintball!!”

“We had a group event with Jerry and he made it extremely fun and was incredibly helpful. Our team even shot him in the neck on accident and he still had an awesome attitude.”

“I have been here two times in the last three weeks. It’s super fun! Paintballing in general can be pretty pricey, but it seems like the prices here are good. They also have some really awesome refs. Specifically Ben David was a great ref. He was fun, explained things well, and helped make the whole experience really worthwhile. Some refs don’t really get involved in the games (in my previous experience here) and they do their job, but Ben really went above and beyond to make the experience really enjoyable for everyone.”

“Daughter’s 11th birthday party. We chose Splatmaster and had an absolute blast. Temps were hot 80 degrees and wearing all the garb made it a bit uncomfortable but overall fantastic time. The big difference – Gabe and Fonzy. Our ref Fonzy made sure the girls were safe and had a great time. He even scolded some players next door for bad language on the course. This guy was top notch. The place seemed cool enough. I didn’t venture around but people appeared to be enjoying themselves. For our party of 13 the check in, gear swap, safety etc, we were all within reason. Arrived at 230 and by 3 we were in action. None of the girls had ever shot a Splat gun before and it wasn’t long before they were moving in a stick behind cover and conceal to surprise the enemy. All had a great time. For parties – we brought ice chest with Gatorade and water. The kids really needed it on such a hot day.”

“Paintball was awesome!  I have never been before so my boyfriend brought me for a date and wow was it fun.  The workers were extremely nice and helpful, talked me through what to do and where to go.  Clifford, the guy were working the field we were at, was nice and totally cool.  At the end he even let us play one on one.  Score!  We highly recommend this place for a fun date or something fun for a group, you just need to be alright with getting a little hurt and dirty.”

“I came here to go to paintballing for the first time ever, and was back again just a few weeks later.  We got a private field for our group, which I think is $5 more per person, but I thought it was worth it.  A lot of us were first-timers but the staff was really helpful and patient.

Tips for paintball noobs like me:
-Yes, it does hurt a bit, but its really not that bad.
-Yes, the paint will wash out of your clothes.
-Cover your whole body—wear long sleeves and long pants, I even kept the hood of my sweater up sometimes (I kept getting shot in the head…).  It might get hot but it’ll hurt less.
-For protection, they provide face mask, neck guard, and chest guard.
-Bring water but keep everything else (cell phone, etc) in the car.  You won’t need it and you probably won’t want your phone in your pocket.
-There is a ref that’ll be with your group the whole time.  They will teach you different games, divide up teams, and referee the game.
-Don’t hold back when shooting!  I tended to take fewer shots, but the more effective players shot like machine guns.  You will most likely not run out of paintballs.”

“I went with a group of coworkers to play here the other day. We are a bunch of hardworking sales guys and this was great for us to blow off some steam! We got a private field for the group and all of the equipment and paint we needed. We were taken care of by Josh M. He was awesome! He offered plenty of suggestions on the different games we could play and was a great ref. We must have played 5-6 different games, 10+ games total. I was totally sore and worn out the next day! We had such a good time that days later we are still talking about it! Thanks Josh!”

“This place is awesome!  I went here for my first paintball experience.  I was very nervous, so I was so happy that the employees made sure I was prepared and felt confident to get out there and play!  Ryan Posada made sure we had a great time.  Thanks for everything.  Great customer service!  Wow!  We will be back for sure.”

“Went here once w/my coworkers.  It was a group of about 40 so always played in a field with jus our group.  I had gone paintballing before back down in socal, but I felt this place was much more organized and much better w/groups.  The rental guns in comparison where more accurate and also lighter.

The fields are not as large as the huge fields i played on back in socal, but that makes it better because it forces the action.

The refs also had a couple diff kinds of games (Zombies vs humans, Defend the castle, and etc…).  Each game had diff rules so that you don’t get bored just playing the basic game of two teams battling it out till one side is eliminated.

They also have a surrender rule where you are not allowed to shoot anybody when they are within 10 feet.  This saves a lot of the pain at the being shot close distance.

Overall, I had a great experience and I would definitely come back again.”

“We have been here a couple times and my son and friends love it.  Are last trip was for my sons 13th bday and step dads 57th bday.  We got a private ref at $50 for 4hrs it was well worth it!  We had Ben Davis as ares and he was great with the kids and even let us know there is a platinum pass which is good if you come a lot.  Everyone had a blast and would ask for Ben again…”

“This place is overall great!  I went paint balling for my 1st time tonight and I really didn’t know what to expect.  The staff is super nice, professional, patient, and accommodating.  Someone said on a post that this place is hard to find…this is simply not true.  The paint is washable and they really don’t hurt like I expected.  Actually, if you get shot once you are out of each 5 minute game and then reinstated for the next game.  So you rarely get shot.  Check their website for details on what to wear.  I was obviously a beginner and it is easy to step in there and compete/have fun.  There is a mixture of: parties, businesses, teens, serious players….so don’t be timid.  It is one of those things you just have to try!”

“I had a surprise bday here last weekend and it was super fun.  I thought it was going to be a kid place like all other laser tags I have been to but I was wrong.  20 of my friends and family came and we were an hour late but the staff didn’t care at all.  We didn’t have to wait to play and the ref even showed me how to win a little easier.  I would go back.”
